Who would win in a fight? Iron Man or Batman?

Popular opinion is that Iron Man will win. However, of course, there's no sure way to predict a winner. We have here two extremely intelligent, extremely capable humans, and there is no telling what would happen if we pitted them against each other. Or is there? Batman fans argument: Batman can take out Iron Man's suit with EMP. Batman can make armoured suits too. Batman has a Justice Buster suit. The Batman factor Iron Man fans (counter-)argument: Iron Man's suit is immune to EMP. Iron Man can make far better armoured suits than Batman. Iron Man has a Hulkbuster suit (and a Thorbuster suit, and some more). The Bleeding Edge armour. The debate: Yes, it's true that Iron Man's suits (all except the older ones) are immune to EMP or any kind of electromagnetic interference. It's no news that Batman can make armoured suits too. He's been doing this for a while. And now, it's even on the big screen ( Batman v Superman: Dawn of ...

How to become like Tony Stark? You need this kind of education!

Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Nuclear Engineering. Now going into specifics, here are the items that you see in the movies and how they are related: Designing and building the arc reactor will take knowledge in plasma physics, magnet design, nuclear physics, electrical power extraction, and radiation shielding/reflector design. Also, since it is a power source for a flight vehicle (Iron Man’s suit) knowledge of aircraft design is also needed since it would help design the power demand curves from the reactor. Building this in a cave like Tony Stark does would also require good knowledge of chemistry and mechanics of materials as it would inform him how to fabricate the components and assemble them with the needed tolerances for making it work. The designing and building the iron man suits is mostly aerospace and mechanical engineering, namely aircraft design. The suit control surface positioning...
