Over 60,000 Students Signed Petition Against CBSE for Physics Board Exam 2018 (Grace Marking & Lenient Checking)
7 March 2018 was the day when Physics exam for Class 12 was conducted, most of the students expected the exam paper to be balanced for above average and average students, as only 1 day gap was provided between the exams (Last was English Core).
But it turned out to be disappointing for many students who had given the exam, it was shocking for them. Even for me as I myself is a student of Class 12 and gave my Physics exam yesterday. The moment I opened the exam paper, I got shocked with the tricky questions that were given, definitely not for average students or even above average. Many students said that they were struggling to even score passing marks, most can't even get to that amount. Many students cried after the exams, yes for some students the paper was easy but not every student is like that, some said that people who took JEE classes found the paper easy and those class toppers but again, not every student is like that...
This is why a petition was started on change.org by a student, which now has over 60,000 petitions signed against CBSE, asking for giving GRACE MARKS or do LENIENT CHECKING.
Here are some comments about the Physics exam that was conducted yesterday i.e 7 March 2018 by some students. CBSE should really do something about this!
Dooti Sengupta: Physics paper was way to tough than I was expecting. most of questions of section C was very hard..and others questions too. I was unable to attempt all questions..moreover there was so much question on numericals and derivations.its feels bad when you had given 1 day and cbse is expecting to cover both theory and numericals. This is the worst question paper given by cbse.
Shahin Khan: Even i want to score good marks. Everyone should. This time i tried my best but none of the questions were similar. No induction, dipole, derivations on lenses . Rms and all . The one which I practiced none of them came.so it was actually pretty tough for the ones who didnt hv coaching and we just got only one day. So i want lenient cheking or else I’ll fail

We want lineant marking as the paper was quiet difficult for average students like us. This examination has a serious effect on our future. Only one day was provided for preparation for a vast subject like physics. We already knew that we have only one day and prepared accordingly the most important topics (asked in previous year) but the questions were asked from between the chapters. Considering this in mind, you should take a step regarding this by providing loose marking. I hope you will not disappoint us.

Rinni Mathew: I request CBSE to provide lenient correction for board examination physics 2018. Also hope CBSE would not repeat this in the forthcoming years and endanger the life of students!!
Manohar Singh: The paper was really tricky and bit tough....everyone was expecting that this time the paper will be bit easier then previous years...but it was not...so liberal marking must be there..

Dev Shah: It was a completely unexpected and Weird paper the cbse needs to be more humane as there are some students who Are going to be giving entrance xam for architecture and law to whom science subjects are of no further use so grace marks should be given
Tanay Gupta: Really dissapointed with this physics paper I studied physics the whole February and still it seemed tough. Have to pass 75% mark to get in good colleges such as NITs and IITs
